-Golden U has sprung to life as an extension of The Cool School. We are on a quest to keep lifelong childlike joie de vivre growing wherever and whenever possible. We seek to create and expand connections among people in their communities, and increase personal sense of well-being. One way to tap into your own strengths is to do fun things. Having fun with your own talents and interests is a great way to enhance every aspect of your life.
The Cool School is a place where kids who struggle to learn cool skills in a regular class--because of their personal challenges like autism, ADHD, vision impairment, etc.-- can get one-on-one lessons in dance, drama, music, karate, and other fun activities, or join a group where they feel a sense of camaraderie. To help strengthen family relationships, these fun resources are also offered to friends, siblings, and parents of our challenged students. Golden U offers fun resources to seniors, bringing programs right to their communities.
